Freelance Feels - Finding the freelance spark...
Well hello - I’m working on the May issue of the newsletter, all about the geography of freelancing. But I’m pausing that to write this short and sweet reminder that Relight Your Freelance Fire, my group coaching course, begins again on May 3 and I have three places left. The course won’t run again after that until November, so this is your last chance to join before what I’m sure is a hectic summer. ‘Freelance Fire’ is all about reconnecting with the spark you have for your self-employed life. It’s easy to lose the spark with freelancing - I’ve been there, as you’ll know if you read regularly and follow me on Instagram! It’s like a relationship - we can fall out of love, get annoyed, can be put off by something new, crushed by rejection… we often wonder what we’re still doing here in freelance land. Right? Freelance Fire is all about sitting back and reminding yourself what really matters to you as a freelancer, and, if it feels like things have gone a bit stale, and flat, reigniting the passion. We talk a lot about finding your ‘why’, and this course is about that - finding the reason you went freelance, reconnecting with it, setting goals and being happier! There are weekly worksheets, all themed around fire, as well as group sessions (Fridays at midday, timed to be a lunchbreak option if you’ve got client work), a one on one and a CV audit (where you send me your CV, whatever state it’s in, and I offer advice on making it a shiny new ‘freelance CV’). You also get to check in with me on email all through the month. If you’re interested to know more, all the details are on the website: www.freelancefeels.com/relightyourfreelancefire If you’d like to grab one of the final three places, email me right back! The course costs £250 including VAT. (Spoiler alert - that’ll go up in November as I’m now an ACC accredited coach which means I’ve done a swanky online exam and over 100 hours of coaching). Hello! I’m Jenny, half writer, half coach, all freelance. I run Freelance Feels, a platform offering individual and group coaching for anyone who is self-employed or thinking about it. This newsletter will always be free, but if you’d like to advertise or sponsor it, drop me a line! (hello@freelancefeels.com). And, if you liked this post from Freelance Feels: The newsletter for humans who work for themselves, please share it, tag me, and tell friends about it! |
