Are Laser Projectors Really Worth $3,000?

Read in Browser

May 16, 2022

One of the biggest trends in home theaters right now is ultra-short throw (UST) laser projectors. They beam an image over 100 inches in size just inches away from the wall. That’s the perfect solution for anyone who doesn’t have a home-sized correctly for a projector setup.

The catch? The “affordable” options start at around $3,000 models. And I know what you’re thinking: could a projector possibly be worth $3,000? I’ve lived with one for two years now, and you’ll find my answer in the top story.

Other Highlights:

  • Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is hands down the best Star Trek show in decades (tied with The Orville). Don’t believe me? We have the details on how to watch the first episode for free.
  • Smart screws might sound like a dumb idea at first glance, but these actually make sense.
  • Dealers are selling the Ford F-150 Lighting EV truck at a giant giant markup. It’s nothing less than price gouging and gross.
  • …and more!
