Comment Like it is HOT, and Other HackerNoon Product Updates

Read the Full Product Update Here
Hey there, Hackers 👋

It’s time for one of our regular updates on the cool stuff our developers deployed in the past month on HackerNoon.com, (updated to May 3rd, 2022) 😉
Comments are finally available (again), site-wide!
👩🏻‍💻 Comment on Your Favorite Articles: Rejoice - Commenting IS BACK ON SITE after a long hiatus 🎉 Scroll down towards the bottom of any HackerNoon Story and you can give your (hot) take on them, compliment your favorite writers, or just share your overall thoughts with the big green world. Writers can keep track of comments on their stories in their dashboard menu, or via this link. Editors will be able to approve and edit the comments, per our Second Human Rule

📈 An Improvement to Story Stats: We are now using Cloudflare Analytics for all of our tracking needs. Turns out, a lot of people block Google Analytics entirely 😬 But now, writers can sit back, drink their coffee, and relax knowing their story stats are correct 💚

🤓 Trending Tech Company Reports: Check out HackerNoon’s Tech Company Brief, a Bloomberg-esque weekly newsletter where we give you the gist of what’s going on with the biggest tech companies within the past 7 days. See the first few reports (also sent via email format) here. Subscribe to the Trending Tech Company Brief here.

(Even sleeker) Notifications for the Clever Human: We updated a number of valuable notifications you receive when it comes to your stories/accounts as well as what is going on with the HackerNoon community. Check them out by clicking the bell icon atop the site, or visit this space.

🏆 Noonie Wins Reflected on Your About Page: For those that have earned the right to gloat, behold our acknowledgment. We’ve deployed Noonie badges to all of the winners’ About Pages. Speaking of Noonies, we have also shipped the first set NFT badges to Noonies winners.
