Amazon shareholders vote down record 15 proposals: Faced with a barrage of proposals on issues ranging from unionization to the environment, a majority of Amazon shareholders followed the lead of the company’s board and rejected an unprecedented slate of issues up for consideration on Wednesday morning at Amazon’s annual meeting. They also approved the board’s proposal for a 20:1 stock split. Read more
