For a week and a half earlier this month, my wife and I traveled to Croatia for vacation. I wrote and scheduled the pieces for that period ahead, so none of them had to do with anything from our trip. But writers don’t take vacations, and I have hundreds of words in notes and rough thoughts that I’ll be working into pieces and publishing in the coming days and weeks.
