Introducing StackShare Enterprise

Today we’re proud to announce that Private StackShare is now StackShare Enterprise ✨ Along with the name change, we’re introducing tons of new features. Today also marks one of our most significant milestones ever - over 1,000 companies are now using StackShare Enterprise and we're currently processing over 1.5 million webhooks for customers per week 🤯

StackShare Enterprise gives you real-time visibility into what technologies are being used across all your Git repos, down to the version level. No more spreadsheets, wikis, or custom scripts to figure out what’s being used, where, and by whom 😅 It also helps engineers get a better understanding of what tools to use internally:
🗣 We need your help to spread the word!
The vast majority of StackSharers joined the community long before we figured out how we wanted to make money, and we couldn’t be more thankful that you’ve stuck with us and continued to share your insights and advice on dev tools 🙏 Our evolution to launching an enterprise offering is special, because not only did the idea for the enterprise product come from the community, but customers have been discovering StackShare Enterprise through you!

One of our favorite examples of this is one of our earliest customers Tyler Technologies (NYSE: TYL). A StackShare community member named Zovin Khanmohammed, Senior Lead Software Engineer at Tyler at the time, heard about StackShare Enterprise through a marketing email (just like this one). He forwarded the email to his boss Chris Cummings, and in a matter of weeks Jeff Green, their CTO, and the Tyler leadership team had made the decision to buy an annual subscription.
So we literally couldn’t have reached this milestone without you and the rest of the community 💙 It means so much to our team to know that you're willing to tell others about our products.

To get to the next milestone, we're going to need a whole army of Zovins, helping to spread the word! So if you think StackShare Enterprise might be useful for your company, go ahead and forward this email to a teammate!

Starting today, we’ll be sending out a StackShare Swag Pack to the first 20 community members that tell their companies about StackShare Enterprise and introduce us to their team. Shoot us an email once you’ve done this with your username and we’ll follow up with details to get you your swag pack 📦

Below are some more details and updates that you can forward about StackShare Enterprise.
✨ StackShare Enterprise - tech stack intelligence
Stop tech sprawl & empower everyone to make data-driven technology decisions
Companies with thousands of Git repos have a complex tech stack footprint, so it’s hard to track ongoing changes using manual processes or traditional tools. StackShare Enterprise automates tech stack tracking by plugging into your codebases and then sending you real-time alerts with complete, accurate, timely data.
For companies with less than 1,000 private Git repos, we’ve introduced a new self-serve “Team” plan that allows you to get most of the enterprise features (SSO, reporting, alerts) and get visibility for a handful of use cases:
We’re also announcing new enterprise features:

  • GitHub Enterprise Server & Bitbucket Enterprise Server (On-Prem) integrations
  • Multi-VCS support in a single account (e.g. GitHub + Bitbucket/Azure)
  • Multi-Org support (with dashboard context switcher)
  • API access

Plus a lot more! Read the full list of new features in our announcement blog post here.
