Odd Jobs - Need Sumer Money? Try These Odd Gigs
Today’s sponsors are here to help bring value to your life. Jen “Odd” Glantz here! It’s hot outside today and that’s why I’m hiding indoors, on the couch, searching for interesting ways for you to make some extra cash. The summer months are expensive. It’s the time of year when people vacation, head to a ton of weddings, or just find themselves spending less time inside their apartments (which leads to them spending more cash money). If you’re in need of new sources of income or you’re someone who wants to get rid of your current job (once you’ve secured income from something else), I put together a curated list of gigs that you might want to try out this summer. Ready to read the list? Keep scrolling…. But first! Meet our Newsletter Sponsors:Bookk.MeWant to chat with me about how to start a business, fix-up your personal brand, or even make a big shift in how you’re living your life? You can now book me to get advice tailored to your personalized situations and questions here. OR go ahead and start monetizing your expertise using the bookkme platform. It literally takes less than 30 seconds to set up a link, plus it’s completely free! ThinkificWondering why you should start an online course this summer? Became a tutor: What’s a topic that you know so well you could teach someone MANY YEARS younger than you? Good. Now that you know that topic, become a summer tutor. So many kids need tutoring during these months and it’s a virtual way you could earn cash. Here’s how. Rent your car or your pool: Two easy options to make cash involves renting things you might have that other people want. One is to rent your car. The other is to rent your pool. Style others: If you love fashion, you can make some cash as a virtual stylist. The best way to do this is to run your own styling business but you can get some initial experience by working for a company like this. Make a subscription box: May this summer be the one you become an entrepreneur! Here’s how you can get into the subscription box world super easy. Sell your stuff: When you’re watching TV, look around and see what items around you can be sold. Use places like Poshmark, Decluttr, or even FB marketplace to earn some extra cash. Lemonade stand: This is totally a thing and could bring in a lot of extra cash depending on where you have the lemonade stand. Check this out for more details.
