I've been hearing this a lot lately...

"1.5k is a lot of money!"

And to that I say, "it depends."

When I was working as a journalist for $38k per year, yes, $1500 was a lot of money.

Then again, I've seen people drop $1,500 on one meal at a fancy restaurant!

But over the years, what I've realized is that I'd spend $10k, $15k, $50k at the drop of a hat if I knew I was going to 5-10x my investment.

$1.5k is only a lot if you aren't going to make an ROI.
