• Big Releases… the upcoming block editor addon Spectra 2.0 version has been released with the Flexbox powered new container layout system, and the pro version dynamic content feature will launch soon. 1. Free & Paid Models… Lesley has decided to close the free version of the Newsletter Glue plugin, and moving forward will only focus on the paid-only version. Check this Twitter thread for a few insights behind this decision. While Jon Christopher is close to launching the paid version of OrganizeWP is thinking of a pricing model of a one-time payment for one major version release.
   
   
2. WP Ecosystem… now that the new design of the WordPress org homepage is live (and controversy around it is forgotten), Jamie tried to create the same homepage design in 20mins – did he succeed? Also, WP Engine has announced new contributor days for their employees to contribute to the WordPress core.
   
   
3. Product Updates… Visual Composer 45.0v release has introduced a blank page wizard feature allowing you to quickly start page creation by selecting either theme default layout, blank page layout, or custom layout. Also, FluentCRM 2.5.95v release with improved automation features for split testing, wait action, and more.
   
   
4. WP Perspective… does WordPress leadership have a public relations problem? Brian Coords gives a low down and how this affects our ability to solve real problems of WordPress.
