Surveying the Titanic’s remains: Everett, Wash.-based startup OceanGate returned to the Titanic's resting place to document how the world's most famous shipwreck is decaying — and how organisms around the wreck are finding a foothold. OceanGate uses a submersible built to withstand the enormous pressures experienced almost 4,000 meters (12,600 feet) beneath the surface of the North Atlantic Ocean. Amazon continues healthcare push: The tech giant is reportedly one of the suitors for Signify Health in a deal that could value the healthcare provider at more than $8 billion. The news comes after Amazon’s planned acquisition of primary care provider One Medical for $3.9 billion, announced last month. 

Seattle startup aims to detect, treat Alzheimer’s and Parkinson's disease: University of Washington spinout AltPep is raising more cash to boost its experimental blood test to detect Alzheimer’s disease at the earliest stages. The 3-year old startup is also developing a diagnostic for Parkinson’s disease and treatments for both conditions.
