Welcome to the 86th edition
Another week, another newsletter! I hope that you all had a great one 🤩
This week, I completely failed to focus on my goals. The only progress I’ve been able to make is continuing to read the E-Myth Revisited, which feels exactly like what I needed to read to move on to the next state of my entrepreneurial journey.
The thing is that I know exactly why I’m procrastinating. I’m lacking the confidence to get in front of the camera and start recording. And it’s insane how many excuses my mind can make up for me and how it manages to push me away from what really matters so that time gets wasted with random/silly things.
But I won’t let procrastination stop me for too long. Day after day and week after week, I’ll keep pushing to get this done. I just have to accept the fact that it takes time to get started.
Meanwhile, I’m learning what I can about video editing with Adobe Premiere.
I really need your help. If you get value from this newsletter, please consider becoming a supporter. You’ll be able to join the curious minds private community and meet like-minded people while enabling me to keep creating content. If you prefer, you can also buy one of my products on Gumroad or buy me a coffee tea.
Alright, let’s goooooo 🚀

The Lab 🧪
The revenue that the lab generates seems quite stable at the moment, at around ~900/month, all income sources put together. This is quite nice, as it pays for the car loan and gas.
The lab has been very quiet this week, as I haven’t found much motivation to try new experiments.
I’ve spent quite some time working on the Obsidian Publisher plugin and made a bit of progress. The plugin isn’t ready for prime-time, but can now publish new articles and keep track of important information like the ID and URL of the created posts. My next step is to handle the update scenario. After that, I’ll make sure that images and links are handled as well. Once I get there, I should be able to migrate my blog over to Ghost. It’s taking me a long time, mainly because I haven’t developed much in the last few months, so it takes a while to get back to it.
Software development is always at the frontier between fun/exploration and frustration. Each step of the way, there are countless traps we can fall into, and those can quickly lead to a lot of wasted time. Going down rabbit holes is always interesting as it always leads to new learnings and discoveries, but is also a productivity killer. We can often spend hours fixing the most insignificant issue. Or spend hours solving a trivial problem because we failed to find the easy way out.

Yes, you can.

Execution is not limited to building a billion dollar company out of it.

Write about it.
Create something.
Contemplate.
Throw it in the trash.

That's the only way you will open up room for more.
