360Learning - How to go it alone
Are you a solo artist or more of a team player? Well, when you’re the only person heading an L&D team of one, you don’t have much of a choice. You need to define your scope, prove your impact, and generally be a Jack (or Jill) of all trades—all on your own. But, as Aimee Young, Learning and Development Manager at Snowplow explains, while this can be a challenge, it can also be exhilarating.
But there are certainly times when you need to work as a team. New hires, for instance, should never feel isolated, which is why developing a solid onboarding program is an L&D priority. Same goes for customer onboarding programs—you need to work together with your peers to help clients find their way around their great new software and make the most of their investment.
Finally, it’s never a good sign when training initiatives start to feel siloed. That’s when you need to break down barriers, start talking to each other, and get into the mindset of a true learning organization.
And speaking of talking to each other, don’t forget to join us on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.

Why Great Onboarding is More Important Than Ever
A few years ago, in-person interactions and activities were a key part of the typical onboarding process. But today, with the number of hybrid employees expected to climb to 55% by the end of 2022, creating an engaged company culture among a dispersed workforce is no easy task. To address these challenges, it's more important than ever for HR and L&D departments to develop an onboarding program that connects their hybrid and remote employees.
Everyone deserves a great start
