Dev Focus… WebDevStudios has announced taking over the development and maintenance of the WP Search with Algolia plugin. Also, the Plugin Dependencies plugin is now available, which allows plugin authors to identify which other plugins must be installed so that their plugin functions as expected.
Freemium Yes or No… Alex Denning concluded, WordPress(.)org platform is ineffective for plugin distribution in 2022 for free to premium plugin journey. On the contrary, Matt Cromwell feels the opposite is true and strongly believes in the freemium model and the power of the WordPress Plugin Directory. What works for you?
