Another logistics startup emerges in Seattle: GoodShip came out of stealth mode Monday, announcing $2.4 million in seed funding to fuel its trucking analytics software product. Ryan Soskin and David Tsai (above) were early employees and leaders at Convoy, the Seattle trucking marketplace company backed by Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos. They are among a group of several former staffers at Convoy who have launched their own Seattle startups, including Outgo, Solo, Mystery, Common Room, and others.

Top 100 colleges based on startup founders: The University of Washington is ranked 24th on a new listing of schools that’s based on the number of alumni entrepreneurs who founded venture capital-backed companies. Read more.
