It’s a space that affords us an opportunity to share experiences and organize around ideas. So it goes without saying that we’re excited when the social media platform releases new features with greater support for crypto and our community.

But we’re going to say it anyway: we’re excited. Kouros brings us news of a growing feature set surrounding NFTs on Twitter. Not only will this contribute to greater adoption of blockchain technology, this will be a boon for artists and communities worldwide that operate in the NFT space.

Kaf takes us on a tour of Infinite Objects, the organization bringing NFTs from the digital to the physical in a way that hasn’t been explored. With Infinite Objects, you can turn any physical space into your own NFT gallery.

Twitter to Allow NFT Trading Directly Through Tweets

Last week as news of Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter was finally confirmed, the social media platform introduced a new feature: NFT Tiles. 

TwitterDev, the account of the company’s development team on the platform, announced on Thursday they were adding more NFT functionality. Links to certain NFT marketplaces will now display a larger picture of the token, and provide the title and the creator.

Supported marketplaces are based on a variety of blockchain networks: Ethereum, Solana, Flow, Polygon, Tezos, and Immutable. According to the announcement, the new features are available for NFTs coming from Jump.trade, Dapper, Rarible, and Magic Eden.

Apparently the mythical bipedal creature known by many names, “Bigfoot, Yeti, Abominable Snowman, Sasquatch”, can now be collected as an NFT on Opensea. Many bigfoot believers just aren’t buying it though.

“The cryptozoologist tried to explain to the thinning crowd that the provenance of the NFT entitled only a select amount of people to own it.But can't we just save it on our phones? Look I've already got your picture." One modestly dressed woman raised her phone out of her purse and proudly displayed the rare alleged photo of Bigfoot taken in Washington state last weekend.”

Web3 is constantly evolving.

Despite the bear market, the ecosystem continues to grow. Hundreds of projects are building solutions to improve the user experience. As a result, NFT technology is seeing wider adoption. With so many new users exploring NFTs, one question that often arises is “how do I showcase my collection?”

Until recently, NFTs could only be viewed on a mobile device, desktop, or through a VR headset by way of a metaverse. As “digical,”–or “phygical,” digital assets with physical components–options become more popular, the demand is rising for more traditional means to display electronic art. Infinite Objects is one organization bridging the gap between the digital and the physical.

What is Infinite Objects?

Infinite Objects is a company that creates physical collectibles for digital content backed by blockchain assets. Infinite Objects is the result of a 2017 partnership between Planeta–a product research and development studio–and GIPHY.

The idea of ​​Infinite Objects is simple: to make video art more collectible and accessible.

How do Infinite Objects work to print videos?

Simply put, an infinite object is a looping video of a digital artifact on an unchangeable display that is always on.

Infinite Objects Video Prints come in three sizes–extra large, large, and small–in acrylic or bamboo frames. A USB power cable and 5V power supply are included with each Infinite Object.

Their partnership with NBA Topshots is arguably the most stunning. Users can view their moments by logging into their Dapper accounts and requesting a "video impression." To demonstrate its validity, each frame has a holographic label and QR code. An Infinite Object can only be purchased by the NFT moment's owner.

What's coming?

Some people think of cryptographic artwork as pixelated images made by kids or drugged-up monkeys. Others see it as a movement that will elevate art to a new level, and this group is growing, which currently includes big name brands and hi brow art galleries and auction houses.

3D art, music, books, photographs, and videos will all become decentralized in the end. "Video printing" is not an entirely new idea. But combining it with NFT technology is, making Infinite Objects pioneers in the field.

Up until this point, the only ways to display your NFTs were through your mobile device or, ideally, in the Metaverse. 

Thanks to projects like Infinite Objects, you can send your spouse a Valentine's Day video or a touching birthday message to your mom.

RENGA

Is This A Blue Chip In The Making?

In terms of blue-chip potential, there has been one project over the past couple of weeks that has stood out more than others: RENGA. 

What makes this project stand out against the rest? And why do many in the space consider this to be the next blue-chip NFT project? 

What is RENGA?

On the first day of Summer this year, all 7,500 holders of DirtyRobot’s “The Art of Seasons” collection were airdropped a mysterious black box. A couple of days later, 2,500 additional black boxes were minted by whitelisted users, totaling 10K black boxes altogether. 

It was later revealed that these black boxes were able to be burned in exchange for a unique character developed by DirtyRobot, thus, the introduction of the 10K handcrafted RENGA characters. 

Today, there are still 2.1K black boxes that have not yet been burned. As a result, these run for a huge premium compared to the revealed Renga characters: black boxes are currently sitting at a floor price of 3.9ETH vs. 1.98ETH floor price for Renga characters. 

Although RENGA founders themselves have said that there is no incentive to hold a black box, the market believes otherwise.

According to their site, renga is the “sequential art or pictures (type of printer, or graphic storytelling, differentiating from Manga by its liberal use of page space, often only one panel per page and sparring use of dialogue).” The goal of the Renga project is to empower every holder to add their own piece to the story centered around their own unique character, allowing the community to take power into their own hands and expand the RENGA universe for themselves. 

“Together, we will uncover the enigma of the ever-present Black Box.” 

Who Is DirtyRobot?

Although the RENGA team consists of 11 members total, there is one name that stands out the most: DirtyRobot, the “creator of worlds.” According to the website, his art style was inspired by retro video games, kung-fu movies, and life at large. 

The first collection DirtyRobot launched was the “Art of Seasons.” This is the collection that serves as an access pass to DirtyRobot’s art, as well as other benefits like physical prints.

Aside from his own collections, DirtyRobot was featured as an artist for 1/1 pieces across several different NFT projects, such as the Pixel Blossom collection. 

DirtyRobot also has several graphic novels listed on Amazon for sale, including Joyama Volumes 1 & 2, and Mister Miracle.

Closing

Whether it’s because of the attention to detail on every single character; or the name behind the collection being an established, well-known, and beloved artist in the space; or because the team itself hasn’t derailed the project with empty promises, there are several reasons why RENGA has managed to stick out from the rest during this current bear market. 

Additionally, RENGA does not have a roadmap, nor does the team overhype the project. This suggests that sometimes it may be better for a team to stay quiet, letting the art speak for itself, as opposed to hyping their floor prices and roadmap day in and day out.

We are in the second half of the 23rd century. A team of researchers designs N°44 V864.962, the first emotionally advanced android. Making it happen was just a matter of decentralization.

By now we know a lot about the life of android N°44, but this time we will jump to its dawn: before the transmigration of the metal; before the reset; before the crucifix before the Collodi Drive, the contemplation of the leaf, the self-portrait, and finally, before the assembly itself.

We go up the flow of the Pluritime against the current like chronosalmon facing the source. We go up to the second half of the 23rd century, precisely on January 15, 2257, when all the physical, digital, and neural newspapers published an advertisement on the page dedicated to job offers:

“Let’s Join the DAO-44!

Do you have experiences in sentient robotics?

Do you consider empathic potential a vector of evolution?

Are you looking for a close-kint team?

We are designing N°44 V864.962, the first emotionally advanced android.

Contact US”

As DustyEye, we have wondered on many occasions where the roots of N°44 lie and we have finally received the desired answer. Even the distracted reader will notice the term: DAO. 

The genesis of N°44 is thus resolved with a combination of local press and decentralized science.

We are excited to share this discovery right in 2022 when decentralized science is taking its first steps, but now we know we have a prosperous horizon.
