DYGYCON 12, early access for Superior, Care Bears in The Sandbox, the FTX collapse, and more... | Play to Earn #149

The big news this past week has been the sudden collapse of FTX and the resulting market dump. This failure of a major exchange affected the entire blockchain space, including gaming.

But though some developers were slowed down and anyone with any exposure to cryptocurrency felt the crunch, development continued onwards!

This week sees Superior offering early access on Steam, while Axes: Battleground drops their official release with prizes for the seasonal leaderboards.

DYGYCON 12 is happening this weekend. It's a free, virtual conference dedicated to web3 gaming and other blockchain related apps. Many of the developers there also give out NFT prizes to visitors. It started on Friday but runs all weekend. It's definitely worth checking out!

The Kuniverse Sandbox Event is live with a 500,000 SAND Prize Pool

Kuniverse is a digital gaming metaverse announced by Argentine football player Sergio Aguero in partnership with The Sandbox. The metaverse platform opened the Kuniverse on November 8, 2022 to the public and announced a $500k $SAND prize pool for players. The Kuniverse Avatar holders will also get a chance to visit the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup. — Read more
