It’s been a leadership roller coaster ride over the past two years for Allison Arzeno, chief executive officer of Seattle insurance technology company Assurance IQ.

  • The Ph.D data scientist took over after Assurance was acquired for $2.3 billion by Prudential, which later said the company underperformed financial expectations. We caught up with Arzeno at Assurance’s downtown Seattle office to learn more about how she’s leading the company. Read more

Keyplay, led by longtime Seattle entrepreneur Adam Schoenfeld, raised $3 million for its subscription-based platform that aggregates and identifies sales leads. 

  • The new startup aims to replace much of the manual work of sales and marketing teams that typically use their own CRM systems, data providers and spreadsheets. Read more.

Microsoft reached a deal to bring “Call of Duty” to Nintendo game systems if the tech giant’s proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard goes through.

  • The move follows news this week that Microsoft offered the same 10-year deal to Sony to distribute the game on PlayStation. Read more.

Players who use video games to relieve stress can now turn to a leading relaxation app to get more of those benefits as part of an Xbox collaboration.

  • Microsoft is offering soundscapes from the games “Sea of Thieves” and “Halo Infinite” on Calm as part of an effort to support players’ mental health. Read more. 

With the rollout of the last 747 jumbo jet, Boeing paid tribute to the iconic airplane at its giant assembly building in Everett, Wash.

  • "For more than half a century, tens of thousands of dedicated Boeing employees have designed and built this magnificent airplane that has truly changed the world,” Boeing VP Kim Smith said. Read more.

A deal to take Seattle biotech company Intrinsic Medicine public via a SPAC merger has fallen apart.

  • Intrinsic Medicine also filed to go public via IPO earlier this year, but withdrew its filing in July. Read more
