🔌 Lightning No More

Happy Monday! The European Union has officially set a deadline for all (new) phones, tablets, cameras, and other portable devices to use USB Type-C for charging. The decision most notably affects Apple, though the company hasn’t confirmed yet if iPhones in other regions will still use the old Lightning port.

Meanwhile, Android 13 is starting to roll out on smart TVs, following its release on smartphones and tablets earlier this year, and LG just revealed the first 240 Hz OLED screen.

A Big Upgrade from the Old Clock Radio
Lenovo

We tend not to feel very organized when first arising in the morning, but a smart alarm clock like the Lenovo can help a little with that, though it doesn’t make coffee. The display can be adjusted to show the weather conditions in your area, or be used as a noise meter in case you want to confirm that something’s too loud. And the fabric material is a bit more user-friendly than traditional plastic alarm clocks.
