  1. Self-healing robot: the future of damage repair
  2. The “nice” number?
  3. Embracing change and finding your way
When you get to the end, leave me a quick 👍 or 👎 to tell me what you thought of this week’s 3-in-3, will ya?

Thing 1 - Self-healing robot: the future of damage repair
I wanna say “no robots were hurt in the process” but they stabbed the poor thing multiple times for testing.
It wasn’t a Basic Instinct type of thing and I wanna believe they didn’t enjoy it.
But nobody will be surprised once the AI-powered robots get fed up and start poking back.
Considering we could be less than a decade from the basic AGI (Artificial General Intelligence)…

Ok, fair, we’re nowhere near Terminator 2 and the machines need a little bit of our help to get there. So maybe they’ll be benevolent.
So what is going on?
This flexible quadruped robot is made of soft materials that can change shape and mimic biological tissues like muscles.
However, because it’s soft, it’s prone to damage. That’s where the self-healing sensors come in.
They’re made of a transparent, rubbery material that covers the top of the robot and tracks its movement. If the sensor is cut, its exposed sides become reactive and fuse back together.
Self-healing components like these could make robots more sustainable in the long run. Damages could be healed unless they are fubar‘d.
And who knows, maybe one day you’ll use self-healing sensors in a space suit to protect against damage from space debris.
Thing 2 - The "nice" number
Of course, I’m talking about 69. Everybody giggles.

Apart from the power of making people act like they are 12 when they hear it, consider other special things about the “nice” number.
69 is the only natural number whose square and cube use every decimal digit from 0-9 exactly once. That’s right, 4761 and 328509 are both made up of every single digit, and it’s all thanks to 69.
69 is equal to 105 in octal, and 105 is equal to 69 in hexadecimal. Talk about a double whammy of numerical fun. My inner Sheldon Cooper says “hi”.
On many handheld scientific and graphing calculators, the highest factorial that can be calculated is 69!
Nice!
Thing 3 - Embracing change and finding your way
Once you realize you can change, each day is rewarding, because you keep getting closer to who you want to be.

Change happens whether you want it or not. What you want also changes, so what’s the point?
As my 4pm alarm reminds me every day: it’s a journey.
You’re one realization away from a superpower.
Let’s pretend knowing who you want to be isn’t its own pickle.
Cheers, Zvonimir
