Donald Trump's third campaign for the White House is off to a lonely start. Cloistered at Mar-a-Lago like a latter-day Norma Desmond, he's facing advanced age, boredom, a slew of legal issues, and an insatiable desire for the limelight. Many former advisers — among them Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner — have fled Trumpworld. The new campaign, headquartered in the Palm Beach area (maybe?), is beginning to take shape. For this week's issue, Olivia Nuzzi goes inside the former president's sad, thirsty, broken, basically pretend run for reelection. (Which isn’t to say he can’t win.)
