What’s Buzzing in WordPress 💖

Got Noticed… the first WordPress marketplace, Gutenberg Market with the listing of premium block plugins and themes from independent developers, is getting a start now. While Brad Morrison, known for the GoWP service, has launched the new Quickly Hire platform featuring vetted freelancers for ongoing online work.
Page Builder Updates… Breakdance Builder (version 1.2) has added a design library featuring full website templates for a quick start to the website creation process. While the GenerateBlocks plugin (alpha update, free and pro) is bringing accordions, tabs, new block inspector controls and much more.

Dev Focus… the new 0.9 version of the GraphQL API for WordPress is now available after almost 16000 commits in over 1.5 years of the development period. Also, the new WooCommerce 7.3 version is out, featuring a new products block that allows the listing of products based on specific criteria(s).
WordCamps Action… the first regional WordCamp in Kerela, India, has been announced – WordCamp Kerela is scheduled for March 25, 2023. While the WordCamp Lisboa will take place on May 19 – 20, 2023, in Lisbon, Portugal. Also, the call for speaker applications is open for WordCamp Europe 2023 till the first week of Feb 2023.
