Today we’re listening to SUSS, an ambient country band based in New York City. We’ve featured them twice before. A trio of country musicians who gravitated toward ambient music in the 2010s, SUSS suffered the loss of founder Gary Leib in 2021. Last week, the band put out a self-titled record that collects three EPs’ worth of recordings made as the band navigated their place in the world after the loss of Leib.
