Victor Glover, a NASA astronaut since 2013, is set to become the first black astronaut to fly to the Moon, NASA announced Monday. In a press announcement, the space agency revealed the four astronauts who will be part of the Artemis II mission, which will travel to the Moon and back, the farthest from Earth any human has traveled. The trip could happen as early as next year.

Glover will fly around the Moon and back with Canadian mission specialist Jeremy Hansen, NASA mission specialist Christina Hammock Koch, and NASA commander Reid Wiseman on a 10-day flight. The launch is currently set to happen via a mega-rocket similar to the one that roared into space on November 16, 2022. Artemis II will be NASA’s first crewed return to the Moon in more than half a century.

What is Beef even about? The new Netflix series starring Steven Yeun and Ali Wong has one of those infuriatingly opaque titles — one that makes one’s mind immediately jump to a docuseries on the meat industry, or maybe a cooking show about mouthwatering cuts of steak.

But Beef refers to the colloquial term for “feud,” the kind that arises from a particularly aggressive case of road rage between Yeun’s Danny Cho and Wong’s Amy Lau, and which spirals out of control until it starts to violently destroy the lives of everyone around them.

The thing about Beef is that neither its title nor its premise does justice to just how smart and darkly funny this dramedy series is. Created by Lee Sung Jin as an A24 and Netflix co-production, Beef has all the teeth of today’s most withering social satires, and more perspective and wit than most “eat the rich” thrillers.

A large part of Star Wars’ enduring legacy is in how the franchise continues expanding forward and backward in the timeline — which is oddly fitting for a story that began with Episode VII. But for Respawn Entertainment’s Stig Asmussen, directing Jedi: Survivor is all about putting character first and foremost.

“This isn't about creating sequels or prequels or anything like that. It's more about rounding out the story and making sure that you have believable characters,” Jedi Survivor director Stig Asmussen tells Inverse.
