I love to see Black girls winning! The racist brouhaha in the wake of LSU’s March Madness win is as ugly as it is routine but I am thrilled to see Angel Reese and her teammates continue to stand ten toes down in the face of misogynoir. Truly what is the point of being at the top of your game if you have to be humble about it? So yes, let’s be more like her!

P.S. Raise your hand if your mom (or aunties, or even you) had The Halle in the late ‘90s + early aughts. I’m trying to see something!

Designer Omar Salam wants to find the beauty in everyone:
