📉 Fintech funding fell faster than any other sector in Q1. Fintech has long been the European VC golden child, bringing in the most investment every year since 2018 — but Q1 numbers suggest that status is at risk.

The sector was leapfrogged by both deeptech and climate tech and has healthtech hot on its heels. That's a far cry from this time last year, when it was way out in front.
