Something waiting for absolutely everyone

One of the gifts of Poem-a-Day, with readers in all fifty states and around the world, is the reminder that, “Poetry matters because, in its clutches, there is something waiting for absolutely everyone,” as Academy Chancellor Patricia Smith said.
