Flavio - News from Flavio

Hi, it's been a while since my last newsletter issue!

Let me remind you that I'm Flavio, and I work on a website called flaviocopes.com, where I write tutorials about web development, release free books about web development, and organize web development courses.

NOTE: You can unsubscribe from my newsletter by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of this email.

In the past 3 months, I've been running my yearly Bootcamp, which is the reason for this long pause in my newsletter. It's an intensive course for both students and me, the instructor, so I basically had no time and energy for anything else!

Every year the bootcamp gets better and better, and it's awesome to be able to help students from all around the world become developers.

Now that the program has finished I'm back in town and preparing a few things you might find interesting.

In May, I'll be running the first private beta cohort with 30 students (currently SOLD OUT) of my new course on solopreneurship called SOLO LAB sololab.io. It's focused on starting and running an online business and selling digital products on the Internet as an indie creator.

I have 15 years of experience selling digital products on the Internet, ever since I went into business in 2008, and making it a viable business and 30 kind folks decided it was worth listening to what I have to say about it.

If things go well, I'll schedule the first publicly open cohort in October. That's the idea. Let's see.

After this, I'll take the summer off from courses to recalibrate, reset, and reenergize, and then I'll be back in the fall in full swing with a series of workshops I'm preparing on JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Tailwind, Next.js, and Prisma.

Workshops are short, intensive courses that last 3-4 days. You can find the full list on flaviocopes.com/workshops/. Early bird pricing is active on all of them, starting today.

They're all online, designed to take a couple of hours a day (not a full-day event that you need to prepare for), and asynchronous, so you can tune-in in the early morning, during your commute, at your lunch break, in the evening, or any time that works best for you.

Each of those workshops is a great opportunity to dive into a piece of tech you don't know yet.

Oh and if there's something you'd really want me to do a workshop on, just tell me by replying this this email and I'll see if that can be a future one.

On the blog, I'm working on a new series of posts that will be released soon on a series of new technologies I'm exploring.

Still a work in progress.

But... we'll talk about that next time.

See you,

Flavio
