10 years ago I was working full-time in IT. I had a job I didn’t like and a boss who hated me. I’m not joking, I think she seriously hated me. 

That made me think non-stop about starting my own thing. 

Everywhere I looked I saw new ideas. You probably know exactly what I mean. 

But I was unsure what to do and lacked a bit of confidence to be honest…

I’d never done a podcast, published a magazine, or sold anything online. At the time, I had no money and no idea how to build a business. I just wanted to do work I was passionate about and build something that was my own.

As soon as I had this crazy idea for a magazine, it called to me so much that I finally did do something! I took the first step without ever knowing what the next step would be.

Then through trial and error, we built our audience and gradually the results followed.

And while there have been challenges along the way, looking back 10 years later, starting a business is the best decision I’ve ever made. 

Entrepreneurship changed my life just as it has done for our students throughout the world.

It’s never been easy, but it’s always been worth it.
