Microsoft unveils Windows Copilot, says ChatGPT will use Bing search engine

• Microsoft said Bing will become the default search engine for OpenAI’s ChatGPT, which could give the company new headway vs. search king Google. 

• The company will use AI to summarize app reviews in the Microsoft Store, a move that Amazon, Apple, and others in the industry will no doubt be watching closely. 

• Also unveiled at Build: Microsoft Fabric, a unified data analytics platform that Nadella called “the biggest launch of a data product from Microsoft since SQL Server.”

Amazon says it respects its employees’ rights to “express their opinions” as plans emerged for a walkout by corporate workers next week. Organizers are hoping at least 1,000 Amazonians in Seattle sign on for the protest against issues such as the company’s return-to-work policy. Read more.

Amazon is taking aim at Apple and Google with its biggest tablet ever, the $230 Fire Max 11, which has an 11-inch screen and, according to Amazon, is “three times as durable” as the 10th generation iPad. Read more.
