Liker Land launching NFT Books

Liker Land NFT books (e-book with NFT as proof of ownership) have flourished since the first experiment with Moneyverse by kin ko, which sold 1,024 copies, 943 readers, 18 cities, and 21 distribution channels in 34 days with a total revenue of US$10,138. In this experiment, kin primarily sold his book from his website. Liker Land is the publishing infrastructure provider and the bookstore front that offers fans buy, sell, and trade the collectibles NFT books with fellow enthusiasts.

In the past few months, there are more authors on-boarded to Liker Land, including Nowhere Publishing, to promote the digital publication of out-of-print classics. From an industry perspective, they aim to explore new publishing models that allow writers, editors, designers, bookstores, KOL channels, and readers to achieve mutual benefits and coexistence based on clear ownership.

Web3 Project Hub

Built on WordPress, using Word3Press plugin to turn articles into collectibles

Web3 Project Hub is the go-to hub for NFT-related news reporting in traditional Chinese, showing good growth, especially within the HK crypto space. They are currently developing a gamified ‘Read2Plant’ flow dubbed ‘Reading Project’ to drive further reader engagement.

Articles on their site can be collected as WritingNFT, which feature cool e-newspaper style images as the NFT artwork. You may also find their bookshelf showcasing their collectibles articles on Liker Land.

IllustBuy

IllustBuy is an online creation platform and marketplace that connects artists and society. The platform focuses on empowering creators with a streamlined commissioning system and unique reward methods. Users can reward creators via the LikeCoin reward button and also collect artwork as NFT.

Liker.Social

Liker.Social is a microblogging platform with over 1k+ active members, built based on Mastodon and LikeCoin, started by a long-term community member and validator. Users can publish their “toots” as Writing NFT, and get rewarded via the LikeCoin button. They have also supported the latest development of the NFT bookstore to their site.

LikeCoin at Web3 Festival, launching Cosmos Hong Kong Accelerator

Hong Kong has recently opened up because of crypto-friendly regulations. There were a lot of large-scale Web3 events in Hong Kong last month. In April, LikeCoin joined hands with other pioneers in Asia, including Forbole and IRISnet to form the Cosmos Hong Kong Accelerator to promote the Cosmos ecosystem. We also spoke at the first Cosmos meetup in Hong Kong, catching up with old and new faces in the space. Thank you, DHK Dao for the kind support and sponsorship.

Other News

• LikeCoin chain upgrade, ChungKing (v4.0.0) mainnet upgrade is expected to happen in W1 of June. We will upgrade Cosmos-SDK 0.46.12 and other IBC security and feature updates in this upgrade. If you are a validator, please follow updates on Discord by selecting the validator role.

• Liker Land engineer, Wei will be the guest lecturer at the upcoming Cosmos Chinese Developer Training Program, opening ceremony on June 1st, 20:00-21:30 GMT+8 hosted by IRISnet. (Password: 020601)
