Before we get to the companies... here's something 4 day week skeptics always tell me:

We could never drop to a 4 day week - we wouldn't be able to get all the work done.

And here's what I always tell them:

With less time, we naturally work more efficiently, known as "Parkinson's law". This productivity gain makes up for lost time (see below)

The way I like to look at it:

  • Give me 6 months to study for an exam: I'll spend the first 3 months creating colour coded study plans šŸ¤“
  • Give me 6 days to study for an exam: watch me workkkk šŸƒ

And we also see this phenomenon play out in real life e.g. hundreds of companies have now piloted a 4 day work week (32hrs), and the results are always the same:

  • Productivity increases
  • Revenue doesn't drop
