Should all 1:1s really be weekly for 30 minutes?
Maybe! But you might also try experimenting with: Senior → Less Often + Longer For example: 60-90 minutes every 2 weeks with a focus on personal/role goals, strategy and removing impediments. Junior → More Often + Shorter For example: Way more meetings but make them shorter. Daily at 20 minutes with a focus on Q+A, skill development and context setting. |
