Inside the Porsche Mission X: A Vision of Our EV Hypercar Future

With EVs like the Tesla Model S and Lucid Air offering more than 1,000 horsepower in practical, sedan shells, the humble hypercar of yore is starting to look a bit tame. Porsche's last hypercar, 2013's 918 Spyder, offered 875 horsepower.

Amazing at the time, less so today.

While these types of machines are about so much more than power, offering delicious engagement and an experience that no sedan could ever hope to match, it's clearly time for the hypercar bar to be raised. That's exactly what Porsche is proposing to do with its next hypercar, the Mission X concept.

This thing could have upwards of double the horsepower of the 918, along with amazing looks that mix the old and the futuristic, plus an interior with seats that are 3D printed to perfection. It's a wild machine that’s poised to re-write the record books.

Matthew Mercer Brought His Own “Flavor” to ‘Tears of the Kingdom’s Ganon

Even if you don’t know Matthew Mercer’s face, you know his voice.

Over the last two decades, Mercer has solidified himself as one of the leading talents in voice acting, playing iconic roles like Levi in Attack on Titan, Chrom in Fire Emblem, and Cole Cassidy in Overwatch. Beyond his extensive acting resume, Mercer is also the co-founder and Game Master of the smash-hit web series Critical Role, where voice actors come together to play Dungeons and Dragons. Since 2015, the show has been instrumental in the resurgence of D&D, garnered a massive community, and even spread into comic books and TV.

Most recently, Mercer took on the role of the iconic villain Ganon in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Tears marks the first time that Ganon has voiced dialogue, and living up to the imaginations of millions of players over the series’ 37-year history was no small undertaking.
