• Polkadot v1.0.0 was released, marking the end of a pretty long development journey. Development for Polkadot v2.0 is already in the works. For information on proposed features for Polkadot 2.0, check out the Polkadot Fellow RFCs.  Anyone can comment and participate.

• Whitelisted Caller - for proposals that seek to update the network

  • Referendum 51, opening HRMP channels between system parachains (Asset Hub, Collectives, and Bridge Hub), was approved with 4 days to vote.

  • Referendum 55, updating the Nominations Pool settings (increasing the max pools, members, and commission), was approved with 5 days to vote.

  • Referendum 58, increasing the parachain validators to 250, is passing unanimously with less than 6 days to vote.

• General Admin - for proposals that seek to manage the registrar

  • Referendum 23, proposing to set Polkassembly as a registrar for the Polkadot identity system, was approved. 

• Staking Admin - for proposals related to staking and validation

  • Referendum 84, updating the collator sets and configurations for all Polkadot parachains, is passing unanimously with < 20 days to vote.

• Small Spender - for proposals requesting less than 333.33 KSM

  • Referendum 40, retroactively funding Pinknode for running public infrastructure for Polkadot in Q2 2022, was rejected.

  • Referendum 45, funding OnFinality for running public infrastructure, was approved.

  • Referendum 46, funding Polkadot Hubs, was rejected.

  • Referendum 52, funding the development of DAO_Terminal, is failing with 80% against and < 3 days to vote.

• Medium Spender - for proposals requesting less than 3,333.33 KSM

  • Referendum 24, funding the ink! design security review by OpenZeppelin, was approved.

  • Referendum 29, funding the development of Societal (a home base for decentralized communities), was rejected.

  • Referendum 32, funding milestone 2 of the Polkadot Hackathon Global Series 2023: Europe Edition, was approved.

  • Referendum 33, funding the further development of Encointer (a common-good parachain that enables communities everywhere to generate their own, autonomous currency, and use it to stimulate the local economy), was denied.

  • Referendum 34, reimbursing RadiumBlock for Polkadot Endpoint Service (Q4 2022 and Q1 2023), was rejected.

  • Referendum 35, funding Polkadotters for 2 years of content creation and event organization, was approved.

  • Referendum 36, funding OneBlock to organize the Polkadot Summer Hackathon in China, was approved.

  • Referendum 41, funding the development of Notifi, was rejected.

  • Referendum 43, funding AngelHack to run the 2023 Polkadot Relayers Incubator, was approved.

  • Referendum 44, funding Polkassembly for new product development and OpenGov deployment, was approved.

  • Referendum 64, funding 727 Ventures to organize the Polkadot Wink Event, is failing with 88% against and less than 8 days to vote.

  • Referendum 67, funding t3rn to carry out a security audit of its trustless Ethereum light client developed as a Substrate pallet, is failing with 86% against and less than 9 days to vote.

  • Referendum 82, funding OnFinality for infrastructure maintenance, is failing with 61% against and < 19 days to vote.

  • Referendum 85, funding a 42-week media order from The Kusamarian, is failing with 48% against and < 21 days to vote.

  • Referendum 30, resubmitting Motion 420 to help the Matrix.org Foundation with upstream funding, was rejected.

  • Referendum 47, funding the Polkadot Assurance Legion Bounty, was approved.

  • Referendum 62, funding Alzymologist Oy and Zondax to create a new metadata protocol for offline signers, is passing with 93% in favor and < 7 days to vote.

  • Referendum 71, funding the WASM Smart Contracts Bounty which was already approved as Referendum 101 but failed to enact, is passing with 97% in favor and < 14 days to vote.

• Treasurer  - for proposals requesting up to 333,333.33 KSM

  • Referendum 22, funding the frontend development of Genesis DAO (a Substrate-based blockchain designed to facilitate the creation and management of DAOs), was approved.

  • Referendum 73, rejecting Gov1.0 treasury proposals and facilitating bond reimbursement where applicable, is passing with 99% in favor and < 15 days to vote.
