Purse First

I’ve mentioned bags that carry “all my essentials” a couple of times now, but haven’t actually shared what those essentials are. I’m a woman of many things — a phone, wallet, and keys are simply not sufficient. I prefer to stay ready so I don’t have to get ready for whatever the day may throw at me. Here’s what I’m packing:

• The go-to red lipstick I’ve been wearing for nearly a decade.
• The lavender-scented hand sanitizer that leaves my hands moisturized instead of sticky.
• The mini-version of my favorite body lotion.
• The always-sold out-wallet (it’s in stock right now) that I managed to snag from a cult-favorite brand.
• The sturdy leopard print umbrella I refuse to leave home without.
