Trump's legal troubles get worse

• Former President Donald Trump got some more unwelcome legal news on Monday, with a Georgia judge rejecting his bid to get evidence tossed in the case against him in Fulton County. [ABC News / Olivia Rubin and Lucien Bruggeman]
• That decision comes as two more potential indictments of Trump could be announced soon both in Fulton County and at the federal level. [CNN / Sara Murray and Jason Morris]
• Such charges would add to the mounting legal troubles Trump has faced: Altogether, Trump’s PAC has reportedly already spent more than $40 million on legal fees for himself and others, raising concerns about possible conflicts of interest. • Despite his many legal issues, a new NYT/Siena poll shows Trump has maintained a strong polling lead in the GOP primary, with 54 percent of likely Republican voters choosing him as their top choice and just 17 percent saying the same of Florida Gov. • That poll also showed that electability arguments against Trump haven’t stuck just yet: When asked to pick between him and DeSantis, 58 percent of likely voters said he was better described by the phrase “able to beat Joe Biden.” [NYT / Shane Goldmacher]

Suicide bomber in Pakistan leaves 54 dead

• A suicide bomber killed at least 54 people, and wounded nearly 200, in an attack in northwestern Pakistan on Sunday. [The Associated Press / Anwarullah Khan and Riaz Khan]
