In it for the long haul: The greening of the trucking and heavy equipment industry was on full display in Tacoma, Wash., at a transportation summit showcasing a variety of vehicles using alternative energy sources such as electric and hydrogen. “The fact that we’re here now and you can actually witness these vehicles, that’s a big deal,” organizer Brian Trice told GeekWire.
