Hello and welcome back to Max Q! I’m finally home after attending TechCrunch Disrupt, our flagship event in San Francisco. We had some incredible programming courtesy of The Aerospace Corporation, plus a handful of incredible startups showcasing in the startup hall and pitching to judges onstage for our Battlefield competition.

That’s all to say, this will be a slightly abbreviated Max Q. If I was able to meet you over the past week, it was a pleasure. If I missed you — hope to see you next year!

In this issue:

  • Battlefield finalist: Magnestar
  • News from Rocket Lab, True Anomaly and more

Meet Magnestar, Startup Battlefield 2023 finalist

Magnestar has developed a software platform that can predict interference to Earth’s spectrum, which communication between the planet and space depends upon, that can help satellite operators avoid disruption.

Watch their pitch at Disrupt.
