What’s new?

As I was saying in the intro, a few changes have happened with Notion Everything. From now on, Valentin is stepping back from the project, and I, Quentin, will take the lead to share maximum value with you.

I want this newsletter to be more actionable, with content that you can learn from.

So it will now have more Notion news, tools, tips, and tutorials to help you make the most out of Notion's latest features.

Tips: Speeding up Notion

Having a speedy Notion experience is like having a turboboost for your productivity. That’s why I’ve listed the best tips to never experience a slow Notion again.

Here are my top 3 tricks that I use daily to make Notion quick:

1. Use the desktop app. It's much faster than using Notion in your web browser.

2. Use toggles to hide content or even databases. This can help with readability and reduce loading time.

3. Limit the number of rows that load in database views to 10 or 25. This way, fewer data loads and your Notion pages are faster.

Insight: Notion for marketing

Notion recently published a super interesting blog post about how their marketing team uses Notion. As a marketer myself, this naturally piqued my curiosity.

Here are 3 things I've taken away:

• Notion's marketing team uses a shared OS to connect department work to company initiatives, for effective knowledge sharing and transparency.

• Notion utilizes individual Teamspaces for each sub-team, like Product Marketing and Social Media, to organize work and foster collaboration.

• Templates are used extensively by each team, and Notion's AI capabilities are used to generate messaging ideas and extract key learnings.
