In recent weeks, we have been covering the horrific violence taking place in Israel and Palestine. To halt more civilian casualties, there must be a ceasefire. Not tomorrow. Not next week. Not next month. Right now.

We must do everything we can to save lives.

America can condemn Hamas’ horrifying attacks on Israeli civilians without condoning Irsael’s response, dropping one thousand bombs per day on a tiny area of Gaza where millions live.

The only way to prevent additional horrific war crimes is to end the hostilities immediately.

We need a ceasefire to de-escalate tensions before more innocent lives are lost. And we must send humanitarian aid and assistance to save as many lives as possible.

Killing Gazans will not provide security to Israel ― only lasting peace can do that.

13 members of Congress including Reps. Cori Bush, André Carson, Rashida Tlaib, Summer Lee, and Delia Ramirez have introduced a Ceasefire Now Resolution to urge an end to violence in Israel and occupied Palestine.
