Wearable sleeping bags are essentially traditional-style sleeping bags with armholes and open bottoms. Their original purpose was surely to make life easier for campers, but in our testing, we’ve found they’re good for plenty more than that.

Few things are as pleasurable as a toasty fire in the backyard on a chilly evening. A so-called smokeless fire pit can eliminate some (but not all) of the smoke and most of the ash, making it a good choice for those with neighbors.
