Guess what? Notion's rolled out more cool new updates!

Notion is ringing in the holidays with new accessibility features by improving navigation and reading!

Key enhancements are:

• Easier tab switching for smoother navigation.

• Enter/Escape keys can be used to start or stop editing, for added convenience.

• Screen reader support for read-only pages.

• Popups, dialogs, landmarks, headings, sidebar, and blocks have semantic markup for better understanding and navigation.

News: Notion performance updates

There are even more Notion updates on the horizon to discuss! Notion has revealed long-awaited performance improvements for a smoother user experience.

The team improved the platform's speed and performance:

• Page loading times are 16% faster, making it quicker to access your content.

• Database page loading is 21% faster, allowing smoother navigation through complex information.

• Typing response improved by 14%, making note-taking and content creation more fluid.

Tips: my 5 secrets to crush my 2024 goals

I don’t know about you, but I've always believed occasions like the New Year are perfect for kicking off new projects and setting new goals.

Over the years, I've learned a lot about goal-setting. And, yep, made a few mistakes along the way. 

But these experiences taught me 5 vital things for actually reaching those New Year's resolutions (and any goal in general).

1️⃣ Set Measurable Goals 

Instead of vague intentions like "get healthier," I go for specific targets, like "run 30K by March." This precision makes my goals tangible and achievable. 

2️⃣ Deadlines Drive Action 

A goal without a deadline is just a wish. Setting a clear timeframe gives me a roadmap to follow and turns aspirations into reality.

3️⃣ Focus on the Near Term 

After setting my measurable, deadline-driven goals, I concentrate only on the next steps. This keeps me focused and prevents feeling overwhelmed by the big picture. 

4️⃣ Start (Really) Small 

Here's a true gem – I begin with goals that are impossible to fail. Starting small and celebrating these wins builds my confidence. Then, I gradually increase the challenge. 

5️⃣ Define Input Goals 

This is crucial to stay in control. Instead of focusing solely on the outcome, I set goals based on the actions I need to take. So I’ll replace “get 1K YouTube subscribers” with “Publish 10 YouTube videos”. 

Believe me, everything’s changed since I’ve implemented this method.
