A former high school counselor is leading a new Seattle startup that aims to better connect students and the colleges they may want to attend. EdXeno founder and CEO Jason Booker (above) said his company is developing a mobile app to provide free college advising and resources to students, and give universities a recruiting platform by communicating directly with interested students. “The vision is to create this equitable landscape where everyone has access to the same information,” Booker said. AI guidance for schools: Washington this week became the fifth state to issue a roadmap to guide educators, students and families in using artificial intelligence in public schools.
