Membership Site Features… MemberPress has launched CoachKit promising to be the industry’s first and only WordPress membership coaching platform with all the features baked into one offering. Also, BuddyBoss has launched Reactions Feature allowing users to visually interact with the content through various reaction icons.

Page Builders… Crocoblock has made a dedicated page to highlight five plugins for Bricks builder users, like advanced filters, AJAX search, custom fields, booking, and eCommerce functionalities. WPBakery 7.4v release has added SEO toolkit integration into the page builder for SEO titles, descriptions, and other parameters.
Plugins Updates… Fluent Forms 5.1.7v has added Contact Form 7 migrator and a new admin approval system to manually approve any entries from any forms. After adding integration for the Breakdance builder, the Ultimate Dashboard Pro has added support for Divi builder users.
Gravity Forms Addons… Johnathon Williams has created the Global Search addon for Gravity Forms that allows searching from multiple forms with single search box. Omnisend has released their Gravity Forms Addon that allows the sending of Gravity Forms collected data to their Omnisend email marketing platform.
New Addons Launches… Marcus Burnette has launched the Advanced Composer Blocks, an addon for the Newsletter Plugin, that adds design and content options. For FooGallery (Free and Pro) users, the team has released User Uploads addon, which allows website visitors to contribute images directly from the front end.
Blocks Life… Bjarne Oldrup shared about making the Block Editor user experience better with cleaner options through the MRW Simplified Editor. Also, Gutenberg 17.5v update focus on the editor unification project that combines the Post Editor and the Site Editor into one unified editor.
ACF + Dev Focus… take note of the latest security release of ACF (Advanced Custom Fields version 6.2.5) and also the potential of b reaking if you happen to use [ acf field=”field_name” ] shortcode to output unsafe HTML such as scripts or iframes. Kristin Falkner has started WP Fieldwork to share tutorials around modern WordPress development and tools like ACF (Added to the Tools page).
Core Releases… take note of the upcoming maintenance release WordPress 6.4.3 scheduled for January 30, 2024. Also, the release squad formation for the upcoming WordPress 6.5 is now available with Matt Mullenweg as the release lead. The WordPress 6.5 beta 1 is scheduled for release on February 13, 2024.
