WORKSPACE TOUR
David Tyler is the co-founder and CEO of ModWood, where he creates products designed to create a uniquely beautiful, better organized, and more productive space.
Prior to getting his start in the physical product space, he was the founder of multiple mobile apps and social networks.
Like many others, he began revamping his home workspace in the early days of the pandemic when he began working remotely more frequently.
What started out as a little nook in a finished attic space began to transform into the workspace you see below over a 3 month window. Throughout this time, David worked on adding color, lighting, a feature wall, plants, and even designed some custom furniture pieces to help define and elevate the space.

Q&A

How do you manage work-life balance?
‍Not well, but getting better, I think. The most impactful habit I’ve committed to is leaving my phone behind when out with my kids. I can't tell you how game-changing this has been. When out to dinner, at the park, at the museum, etc. I just leave my phone in the car. There's no temptation or distraction.
