Speaking at the Downtown Seattle Association’s annual “State of Downtown” event this week, City Council President Sara Nelson touted the benefits of working in person. But the campaign to get employees back in the office to help spur economic activity may be losing steam as companies settle into hybrid work policies. Seattle is still near the bottom of a list ranking U.S. cities on downtown recovery based on foot traffic. Read more.
