4 Day Week - 40 Jobs with a 4 Day Week 🚀

There's some drama going on in the world of the 4 day work week, here's what's happening 🍿

1. South Cambridge Council started trialing a 4 day week (100% pay for 80% time)
2. The results were incredible. Increased productivity, £333k / $425k recruitment savings, KPIs remained the same, happier staff, less sick leave and much more
3. But the UK government wasn't happy with the switch despite the great results
4. So they told the council to switch back to a 5 day week
5. But the council said no 💪
6. Now the UK government is threatening to cut their budgets, or to even make changes to the law (!)

Ridiculous!

Like the pioneers of the five day workweek once did (when we worked 6 days), South Cambridge Council is showing us the future.

But the UK government is saying no because... eh... because "it's the way we've always done it." 🙈
