“Money dysmorphia” is Gen Z’s “keeping up with the Joneses”

Does it sometimes feel like everyone is better off financially than you are? Even though you know, on a logical level, you’re doing alright for yourself? Gen Z has a word for that: “money dysmorphia.” And, according to a report by Credit Karma, it plagues nearly half of young adults.

The best way to fight those feelings is by practicing financial wellness, which is knowing what you have, knowing where you’re headed (including taking steps to get there), and feeling good about it. And we’ve got some tips for how to do it.
