We’re all struggling to keep up – with the news, social media, our inbox. The irony is not lost on me as I reach out to you via this email. But I believe a more personal connection can make good things even better. And since I’ll be taking up space in your inbox every week, I’d like to at least briefly introduce myself, the person behind every Dense Discovery email:

My name is Kai. I’m a German-born, Melbourne-based designer and publisher, and the creator of print magazine Offscreen. My interests in design and tech intersect with a curiosity about futurism, ethics, and sustainability. I think a lot about how we shape technology and how technology shapes us.

As a proponent of ‘creating in the open’ I share much of my process, such as: the apps I use, experimenting with pricing, and making work personal. More about me and Offscreen here.
