Amazon stock rises as Q1 earnings top estimates with $143.3B in revenue; AWS sales up 17%

Amazon stock was up in after-hours trading as the company topped revenue and profit estimates for its first quarter earnings. Amazon’s cloud business was up 17% at $25 billion, with $9.4 billion in operating income.
